What’s In September?
It’s a love story. Don’t ever forget that. No one can tell you something bad about yourself better than God. He is the only one who can insult you to the core, and make you feel like it was the best thing that ever happend to you; for one simple reason, you never question God’s motive. He is always looking out for your best interest. And he is always right.
You may need to lose weight, but the husband who calls you fat, withholds affection, and betrays you with another woman is not concerned about your heart condition. He is concerned about your weight for his own personal gain.
It is important to remember where you stand with God before you feel the scrutiny of his eyes on your work. He loves you. Remember that. Then allow the ten days of reflection; the days of true introspection. Allow yourself to truly see critically because the more heat you can take, the more honest you can be with yourself about what you have to do.
There is work to do and every year from fall to fall the Lord assigns your work load. First, you are divided and judged so that it can be determind how much of the burden carried by the body you personally can hold, and how well you did carrying what you previously were burdened with. Be patient with yourself. Even if you completely failed at one assignment in the past, when you follow his instructions you will surprise yourself and everyone around you with just how excellent your work really is.
